Abstract Submission & Registration
Abstract submission and conference registration is free of charge. To make this possible, we kindly ask all participants attending in person to purchase coffee and lunch at the University of Essex Colchester on-campus facilities. Registered participants can make a donation towards the Society for Emotion and Attachment Studies (SEAS) – more information will follow.
Abstract Submission is now open and will close on May 31st, 2022. All submitted abstracts will subsequently be reviewed and authors notified by June 15th, 2022. Please note that we only have a limited number of poster and oral presentation slots available.
Abstracts on a topic within the conference scope can be submitted for two presentation formats: poster presentations and short oral presentations.
Poster presentations will be on-site and thus for in-person attendance. We will, however, create an online repository for presenters who cannot attend in person and would nonetheless like to submit a poster for consideration. Posters will be accessible online during the conference and remain accessible for an extended time after the conference so that individual meetings with interested participants can be arranged flexibly.
Short oral presentations will be possible both on site / in person and remotely. Please note that we will only have time for up to six ten-minute short oral presentations. For remote presenters, pre-recorded presentations can be arranged. All oral presentations will be recorded (given presenters consent) and made available to conference participants in an online repository for an extended time after the conference for asynchronous viewing.

Conference registration is now open and will close on July 1st, 2022. Please note that abstract acceptance automatically counts as conference registration.
If you wish to attend the conference in person or remotely without presentation, please register using the form below. Please note that our on-site capacity is limited and we would like to keep the number of participants low to ensure an interactive workshop-like atmosphere. Registrations will thus be approved on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registered participants attending remotely will receive the conference Zoom link by email some days before the conference date.
