Prospective PostDoc Researchers

At the moment, there are unfortunately no funded PostDoc positions available in the SoNeAt Lab. If you have funding available or would like to discuss possible research proposals for which a funding application could be put forward, please use the contact form below to get in touch with Dr Vrticka.

Current Funding Scheme Calls:
Call for funding within the SeNSS ESRC Postdoctoral Fellowships 2022 – Deadline March 23, 2022. This is a call for a position of 12 or 18 months. Applicants must have completed their PhD at a research organisation that is part of a current ESRC-funded Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP), and have no more than 12 months of active post-doctoral experience since passing their viva (allowing for career breaks) by 23 March 2022.

Prospective PhD Students

At the moment, there are unfortunately no funded PhD positions available in the SoNeAt Lab. If you have funding available or would like to check out ways of applying for funding in association with a PhD research proposal, please check out the information about the application deadlines and procedures at the University of Essex available ►here and ►here. It is advisable to contact Dr Vrticka well in advance of the final deadlines (several months) to provide yourself adequate time to develop your research proposal. Studentships in the Department of Psychology at University of Essex are very competitive and a high quality research proposal is essential to receive a funded offer.
